About Us
about our foundation
Thari E’ Ntsho Foundation is a Non-Profit Organisation that was initiated in 2021; it is officially registered with the Department of Social Development bearing the following verifiable number 248-141 NPO, with SARS PBO no: 93008033 and Tax no: 9264988255. Our foundation is a determined Asset Based Community Development structure with a feasible approach and outcomes that are beneficial to the entire country.
The Thari E' Ntsho Foundation is a nonprofit organisation committed to addressing the pervasive issues of substance abuse and related social crimes. Our specialised recovery boot camps offer structured programs designed to break the cycle of addiction and criminal behaviour. Through a combination of therapeutic interventions, educational workshops, and peer support, we aim to equip individuals with the tools necessary for lasting recovery and positive societal contributions.
Our approach emphasises prevention, education, and community involvement, recognising that sustainable change requires collective effort. By fostering a safe and nurturing environment, we enable participants to confront their challenges, develop coping strategies, and build a supportive network that extends beyond the duration of our programs. The Thari E' Ntsho Foundation is not just a pathway to recovery; it is a movement towards a healthier, more resilient society.
The foundation also concentrates on preserving our heritage and artistic legacy by supporting and initiating programmes associated with the South African Art and Cultural activities including campaigning for Environmental Awareness Programmes that are eco-friendly and beneficial to the community.
our vision
To craft a value centred non-government organisation that will invigorate the spirit of Ubuntu; Growth, moreover adding value to the community.
our mission
To build an Asset Based Community Developmental organisation with a driven and
realistic approach that has potential outcomes valuable to the developmental paradigm
which people are able to associate with.
We have introduced Recovery Boot Camps Programme dedicated to averting a relapse, substance misuse among youth and focusing on a long-term recovery for anyone obstructed by alcohol and drug addiction.
South Africa has a rich and proud History displayed through Art and Culture however, as Thari E’ Ntsho we are becoming concerned that our tradition seems to be diminishing because we are of the view that it is not given 100% attention except the exposure mostly taking place in September during our Heritage month but thereafter there are zero activities.
Thari E Ntsho Foundation will implement programmes towards promoting and improving the development of youngsters, to further pursue their interest and talent using the game of Golf, Tennis, Swimming and Basketball from grass-roots to professional ranks.
We engage in advocacy work to educate, evaluate, and implement evident based models on substance misuse and underage liquor consumption i.e. early intervention and community engagement programmes.
Our consideration is on protection, restoration and rehabilitation of the ecosystem which remains one of the priorities we are embarking upon as such this includes beautifying community recreational facilities as windows to our biodiversity for leisure, enjoyment and spiritual upliftment.
This envisaged programme is being created to work with Educators and Learners, to improve and promote excellence in academic results, including flexibility in aligning with the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) programs in addressing the Under-developing system of education due to the lack of proper facilities in our local and rural schools.
Our services pursues addressing societal ills related to the usage, misuse and abuse of alcohol and drugs contributing to key troubles and thus attracting a toll on the well-being, social and financial setup.
The purpose of this concept is to embark upon a national campaign that will entirely condemn the level of crime our country is currently experiencing which is corruption, human trafficking, violence against women and children; bullying, gun violence excessive use of substance abuse etc. The purpose is to condemn and say enough is enough.
Overall, our study suggested that food insecurity in South Africa remains a major health problem. And poorer households are disproportionately affected. Living in a food insecure household may be forcing poor South Africans to use a variety of coping strategies that ultimately lead to anxiety and depression.
